Today has been a curious morning to say the least. I strolled into the office this morning and noticed Amy sat at her computer (ever the early bird) and she was checking some content Matt had written. Everything was as it should be; Tim was checking his email while waiting for the kettle to boil, Chris was wearing his old-favourite checked shirt and Roger was doing something intricately SEO-y that I couldn’t possibly comprehend.

With Google having the lion’s share of the online pay per click market, it’s funny to see that even a giant of the web business arena still appreciates the power of traditional media advertising.

It was this week I saw an advert in a magazine pushing Googles AdWords system with a $75 free advertising trial promotion, thankfully though they kept to their usual standards producing a minimalist, predominantly blue on a white background advert, that makes good use of white … - Read More >

Writing for a living has it perks. I get to be creative every day, devise technical blog posts, publish news and build wicked websites. However, my keyboard is ruining the tips of my nails.

I love the essence of ¬†my office keyboard – it’s my writing tool, my prose facilitating contraption and my ultimate reason for being. Plus it ensures I receive a regular pay cheque each month. I’ve grown attached to it despite the dust and chocolate wafer crumbs … - Read More >

Here at redsauce.com it’s obvious we love the internet…. unfortunately at the moment the internet doesn’t seem to be keen to return the love.

Ever shrinking bandwidths, an influx of new staff and our ever demanding needs means our poor internet seems to be feeling the pressure at the moment! *sob* Instead of standing up to the pressure like a true redsaucerer our internet seems to be doing everything it can to shy away from our needs which, as you … - Read More >

I don’t know but below are some SEO based jokes, which I could create punchlines for.

I thought: we are always talking about SEO and the diversity of content but that we don’t really talk about the lighter side of SEO. And one of the lighter sides is jokes.

So to do the SEO treatment to SEO, here are a few jokes to tackle SEO from a new angle.

And just so you know George Clooney loved them.… - Read More >

A common complaint amongst blog writers is a lack of inspiration, topics to write about and writer’s block. Yes even us content writers with our massive brains and superhuman keyboard skills do sometimes struggle to find something we think is worth writing about. Case in point – right now.

BUT we do have a number of things to do when we simply can’t write…… - Read More >

This is Sunday, and to be honest it isn’t the best one I’ve experienced in a while. Nothing seems to be working out and the only thing I am looking forward to is a chicken pasta bake. I can smell it now, and believe me it smells like its going to be a big hit.

So after trying to find a way to inject some fun into my day, I had a look at my usual websites and tried to … - Read More >

It’s a sad day at redsauce.com, I’ve fallen out with the internet. This morning I found that software I should be able to cope with as a seasoned blogger, was in fact confounding me at every click.

After some frustration at technology I said something I immediately regretted in the heat of the moment: “ARGGHHHHH! WHY CAN’T I JUST USE A SCROLL AND INK?! WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE SO COMPLICATED?!? I WISH THERE WAS NO INTERNET!!” ¬†To a … - Read More >

I went to the cinema last night because it was Orange Wednesday and I wanted to watch a cheap flick on the big screen. Plus I was intrigued by the trailer for the new DiCaprio movie called Inception.

I was one of the few who didn’t fall for the charms of baby faced Leo when he starred in mega box office hit Titanic but the special effects and the enigmatic nature of the sneak preview I’d seen on tv was … - Read More >
