Facebook is moving into the American political mainstream.

Social network giant Facebook has confirmed that it wants to set up a political action committee (Pac) on Capitol Hill after filing the paperwork necessary to the Federal Election Committee.

Google+ is finally open to everyone following a short trial period where only those who were invited could create an account.
