Perez Hilton’s top five tips to make your blog famous May 1, 2010
Sorry to disappoint any of you snivelling proles, but the team at redsauce.com towers are actually surprisingly well-heeled. We have gold-plated credit cards, middle names that date back to ancient landholders and frequently pull out the family silver to dine on roasted swan.
Indeed my liege, we are a posh lot. So posh, that we are bosom buddies with none other than the pink princess hotel heiress Paris Hilton! Paris just loves to pull up in her platinum Bentley, kick off her Christian Louboutins and share a cheesy oatcake with James. She’s swapped shopping for an SEO fix and she thinks content is “like, totally hot….”.
Yeah, we all know Paris, with her short dark hair and designer stubble…ohhhh….you mean *male* blogger Perez Hilton isn’t the same as the blonde society gazillionairess Paris Hilton?! Dang. Okay, but Perez sure does know his blogs. In fact, the celebrity blogger has become a celebrity himself for chinwagging about the fabulous, twinkly starlets of Hollywood. And what turned his blog into a backstage pass? Content darling. Mwah!
In an interview with Stella Magazine, Perez unleashed some top tips that will make your blog famous beyond its wildest dreams….or at least get you a few more hits:
1. CONTENT!!! – The blog king himself says, “I’m balancing what I write with trying to create as much content as possible”, adding, “the more content you have, the more traffic you will get”. Hallelujah! Content is officially endorsed by a world-famous blogger. If you don’t listen to me, at least listen to Perez.
2.PERSISTENCE – Sadly, a blog won’t magically write itself, and if you put in the time, you’ll reap the rewards.
3.PICTURES – You wouldn’t go on a blind date without stalking someone on Facebook, am I right? Similarly, you’re less likely to read a blog if you’ve no picture to whet your appetite.
4.EFFICIENCY – It’s not your life story, just get it down!
5.FANS – Don’t forget to respond to comments from your adoring fans and get networking, it’ll do wonders for your popularity.
Et voila! Before you know it your blog will be out on dinner dates with George Clooney and will be too busy sharing Elton and David’s Tuscan villa to return your calls.

Daaaaaaaarling!
