He might want our extra time and our “Kiss” but it seems Prince definitely doesn’t want our internet!
The Artist Formerly Known As Prince, or whatever he’s calling himself these days, sparked controversy throughout the internet world this week when he announced the internet was dead! Hmm… that’s news to us!
According to the “Raspberry Beret” legend, the internet is like so yesterday! “The intenet’s completely over… ,” he proclaimed while trying to stir up hype over his new album. In words which will come as a dagger to the heart of intenet-based companies like our good selves, Prince went on to say the internet was like (shock horror) MTV – “At one time MTV was hip and suddenly it became outdated,” he told the (ahem) high-brow newspaper The Daily Mirror.
