New iPad app allows users to make shapes in order to navigate

Although Apple users can already swipe and click a link with their finger, a new app called ‘MoboTap’ takes this concept one step further.

MoboTap has been designed to allow Apple users to navigate through a selection of on-screen shapes, which are all drawn with the index finger. For instance, swiping the letter G would take you to Google.

Japanese electronics giant Sony yesterday unveiled not one but two tablet computers to rival the iPad.

The tablets currently called Tablet P and Tablet S, were revealed as the IFA conference in Berlin.

Apple founder Steve Jobs has resigned as chief executive of Apple and will be replaced by the company’s chief operating officer Tim Cook.

 Mr.Jobs, who is 56, is a pancreatic cancer survivor and has been on medical leave since 17th January,  with an undisclosed condition.

 This is currently his third medical leave since his diagnosis of cancer seven years ago, in his      resignation he said he is no longer able to meet his chief executives duties and expectations.- Read More >

Fake Apple shops spotted in China.

New stores look almost exactly like official Apple retail stores.

Fake Apple stores have been found by an American blogger in Kunming City, China. ‘BirdAbroad’ discovered three fake Apple stores within minutes of each other within the Chinese city. The blogger posted articles, photographs and descriptions on her blog and has started a universal hunt to locate more.

Ipad 3 and Iphone 5 sent to Samsung following patent infringement

Tensions escalate as Apple/Samsung dispute continues

Samsung, the designer of tablets and smartphones, has recently asked a judge for access to the unreleased Ipad 3 and Iphone 5 from competitors Apple.
