So what do we look for in interviewees?

1. Skill: Obviously skill is the most important thing. If your CV doesn’t “sell” you and your skills, you won’t be invited for an interview. Show us you’ve got the skills we need. Portfolio’s are great for doing this and can really highlight your talents. It could even change our opinion of you and could swing the job in your favour.

2. Personality: It’s important to show your personality during an interview. This helps us to gauge whether you’d be able to fit in with the team or if there could be any personality clashes. It also shows us you have a sense of humour which is definitely important when working in our office. You still need to act professionally but acting robotically is definitely not the key to our hearts.

3. Respect: Here at redsauce.com we take our work very seriously. To impress us you need to show respect for our work and the money we make.

4. Openness: To be successful as a content writer you need to be ready to change. It’s not advisable to come in here telling us you know everything already and can do the job with your eyes closed. Want the cold, hard truth? You really can’t! Most of the work we do is fairly new and exciting so it’s almost impossible that you will know how to do everything already.

5. Willingness to learn: This is key. There’s so much to teach when it comes to content writing at redsauce.com. If you don’t want to learn you’re not going to either a. get the job or b. keep the job for very long.
