It is the voice of the small business owner who blogs on a specific product that will get their company recognised. If you need wider exposure but don’t have a marketing budget to speak of then this resource cannot be over looked.
Similarly, if you are an artist expressing yourself online it is by writing about what it is you do and the wider niche in which you find yourself that you can introduce your work to a wider audience. You may even be able to develop a business model.
Just remember: a personal touch and a little irony can go a long way.

Starting a New Job January 16, 2010 No Comments
Whenever you start a new job you’re excited, you’re optimistic, you have great hopes about the days ahead and the opportunities in front of you. Inevitably, all these feeling are crushed in a fireball of mundanity.
Unfortunately, by the time you realise that by expressing these sentiments in comic form you are contradicting the very point you are trying to make, it is too late. Here is what I hope will be the first of what will become a weekly cartoon entry on the Red Sauce blog. Don’t worry; they won’t all be as self-referential as this:
