Tools of the trade November 26, 2009
Like any skilled tradesman a busy office can’t do without their tools. This week we have been looking into finding or building some tools to support everyone at red sauce. We already have a great tool called task freak which enables us to keep track of tasks and enables us to project manage. Exploring the net we have found some great tools, that help us schedule our time and share our calendars with each other, not only is this very clever but will undoubtedly boost our efficiency in the future.
The library of tools on the net is becoming vast and don’t just cater for time saving and scheduling. There are many for the web, we have created some ourselves for clients and they have become really popular. Here are some examples of our tools:
Map Finder – This is a great littler tool that can be thrown on a website’s about us page with ease. The idea behind this was to allow customers to have the ability to plot the faster route from their location to the company.
Scrolling Testimonial – This is a good looking tool very simple but effective . The tool allows users to submit a testimonial and then it scrolls all approved testimonials in a small area.
News reel – Simple little tool that allows a site to display current an up-to-date industry news on its page without any need for backend coding.
I just wanted to share a few of our tools with you although we do have lots more. Tools can impact your business from streamlining your work load to giving information to clients and increasing conversions , sit down and think to yourself what could your company use.
