Wanna be wicked? Think like Wikipedia February 27, 2010
Wikipedia: c’est un pretty big and successful site, non?
Well, take a leaf out of their encyclopaedic book and put some of their tricks to work for your business! Yeah I’m talking content baby, and if it works for the Wikid then it can work for you. Yes, even you Managing Director in your Mum-bought underpants with bean juice dribbled down your team-building exercise t-shirt! And it’s all a whole lot easier than you think…
Just last week it was announced that the gods of Google smiled favourably upon the Wikipedians and granted them a cool $2 million to keep up the good work. The search engine giants are keen to support sites that make the access of information easier for its own users. After all, that’s what the internet is all about – a huge platform for information and a bajillion consumers ready to gobble it up.
“But why is this relevant to me?”, I hear you cry. Well here comes the clever bit; the sheer scale of the Wiki website often puts its results on top in a Google search and all because Wikipedia has the most available content on that topic. Look! Proof of what we’ve been saying all along!
Fair enough, so you’re unlikely to get a web giant throwing you a massive wad of cash willy nilly but I can assure you that if you prioritise content on your website, Google will reward your business inadvertently. The key is to get the support of Google, without it even knowing. *Cue caddish moustache twizzling*. It’s an organic route to SEO success!
If you’re anything like the majority of online businesses, it is likely that your present content arsenal has all the power of a newborn kitten swiping at a dangling thread of yarn. Pah-thetic. But fear not, Red Sauce has the know-how! We will give your website the content that will roundhouse kick your company to the top. We are the Chuck Norris of content.
Our message couldn’t be simpler if it tried. If your website is looking to corner the market, open a can of whoop-ass on that market and leave said market running off squealing to its Mummy, then content should be your weapon of choice.
